Re: Gunshow this weekend at AZ Fairgrounds
This is definitely one of the larger gun shows. I've found some decent deals here and there. Great place to sell stuff, lots of people walking around with signs etc. Sometimes there are good prices on ammo. I also enjoy looking around and especially like seeing old guns. I'm not a collector of old s...

Re: What's wrong with grip safeties ?
I don't think there is anything wrong with them if it's used for plinking etc. For self defense however, what's wrong is there is one more thing that could go wrong. I personally don't like handguns with a safety if it is for self defense. The only handgun I have with a safety is a .22 and for those...

Re: Ultimate Survival Rifle Build
The 10/22 Charger has an 8" barrel and you can put a folding brace on it. I don't know what velocity loss between an 8 and 16" barrel would be but I doubt it would be much. Just a thought I'm no ballistics expert but my first thought was no way, you would lose so much velocity. A quick Go...

Re: Ultimate Survival Rifle Build
What about a Keltec 9 MM 2000. The folder, gen 3? I have to agree it's a great option as well. When I have gone to Moab I bring my Glock 19, Kel-Tec Sub 2000 (Gen 2 though) and my Ruger LCP II. There are always pros and cons and the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 would make a much better self defense weapon and l...

Re: Ultimate Survival Rifle Build
For those of you who mentioned suppressors quit giving me more ideas to spend money! Just kidding. I found this video, it's a long one but you can skim through it as well. You could also just use a regular suppressor, not as cool, but it can be used on more than one firearm. https://www.youtube.com/...

Ultimate Survival Rifle Build
So I have been thinking of either getting another Ruger 10/22 Takedown but with a Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock or just getting a Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock for mine (but I really like my current set up). I was Googling on how to add a rail on the Magpul X-22 backpacker so I could add a light when ...

I don't want to put specifics on a public forum. He had a family tragedy and decided to get out of the gun business. He got into truck driving but that was a long time ago. Here is another thread about him too. https://www.arizonashooting.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20671&p=160163&hili...

Also found this, might be better than a KAK for muzzle flash.

Re: Which Muzzle Break for an 11.5 inch AR Pistol?
I use the pig on my 5.5 fun switch lower which needs the blast tamed and worth the higher cost. Has an inner like baffle and acts as a flash suppressor. The KAK is single piece unit and I find it does a nominal job for the cost directing muzzle blast from the shooter on 10.5" and up barrels. P...

Good to know thank you!Noshoot wrote: ↑April 2nd, 2024, 9:42 amNoveske flaming pig is made out of steel, and it aids in cycling with shorter barrels due to providing a little bit of back pressure when firing.

Re: Which Muzzle Break for an 11.5 inch AR Pistol?
I shoot a lot of short barreled single shot guns in rifle cartridges. 444 Marlin, 243 Win, 30-30AI, 6.5 Tcu, 270 win., 6 PPC. Plus many rifles in various calibers. I have found that the plain vanilla brake with 3 large side vents and only top vents in the center of the top with no bottom vents work...
