Re: Less than Lethal

Back in Dad's day when he was on Phx.P.D. (circa 1972), "less lethal" was firing birdshot into the pavement directly in front of rioters and skipping shot into their legs. If anyone charged the line, they were fired on directly. THIS. Was SOP for AZ DOC until 2006. May have changed since ...

That is the biggest piece I have learned big game hunting. Make sure your boots and socks are top notch. Nothing will ruin your day faster.

Re: need replacement earcups for Dillon earmuffs

They look like peltors. You might want to call Dillon directly though. I have always had good customer service when calling. If that doesn’t work... I would buy a hygiene kit and keep the receipt if it doesn’t fit. Also remember to replace the foam on the inside as that helps with attenuation of the...

Re: Press checks are dumb?

Every time I pick up my carry gun, I verify there is a round in the chamber before I walk out the door. This. If the gun has been out of my control. Otherwise it is just range theatrics that looks cool in a Steven Segal movie of the 80’s The idea of the press check is actually pretty interesting if...

Re: Replacing front door on my house.

Don't try to match the existing material thickness... make it special... What you do is construct a decorative treatment around the opening- pop it out , make some geometric whatever- that is what accommodates and conceals the extra materials you need to use- build the opening the normal way... I a...
