Recommend Scope for M1A
Can you recommend a scope for the M1A? It is in 308 and has a 22 inch barrel. I am interested in scopes which natively work for 308 and can easily reach out to 500 yards.

Re: How do you store your ammo?
I prefer having ammo cans organized on shelves. In the past I used to just stack the ammo cans on each other but then I noticed I started ignoring and dreading trying to retrieve ammo from the ammo can at the bottom of the stack. The problem for me was finding a metal shelf that could support the we...

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
The regular gunshops I go to in Tucson have started having more pistols and rifles in stock. I am still surprised shotguns are in such high demand.

Beretta AR70/90 Gunsmith?
Is there anyone you would recommend that would be able to build a semi-auto Beretta AR70/90 rifle? I already know Arizona Response Systems is not taking any more work right now.
I know this project will likely take a long time to complete since there are currently no barrels or receivers available.

Re: Budget AR build
I would likely start out with a Nitride Freedom Upper from PSA if I was building a budget build. Nitride makes the outside and inside of the barrel hard, similar to chrome-lined barrels, but the hardness continues to be present after the surface finish is removed.

Re: Glocks In Stock In AZ?
Murphy’s Guns and Gunsmith in Tucson had a pretty good selection of Glocks in stock when I was in there about 1.5 weeks ago. This shop is a bit off the beaten path and can easily be missed if you are not looking for it. They also usually have a good selection of used Glock pistols as well. I know th...

Omega Weapon Systems - Website is Down
Does anyone know what happened to Omega Weapons Systems? This company is based in Tucson and offers many gun parts. I last purchased SKS parts from this company in December 2018. I went to visit the website this morning and noticed it was under construction.

Re: Can Anyone Still Fix a 1893 Colt Double Action
You could try Colt, they might be able to fix your revolver. When I spoke with them last year they had too much work to accept any addition gunsmithingvwork for a while, it might be better now. https://www.colt.com/page/service Cylinder and Slide did work on my Colt revolvers. Their work was excelle...

Re: Is C&R collecting effectively dead?
I think it all comes back to prices gradually increasing due to increasingly limited supply. I am seeing the same occur with AK and other gun parts kits; I remember the days of building an AK from a barreled kit was not too expensive. Unless more surplus is imported into the US I only see prices inc...

Possible Improvement to Classified Ads
Would it be possible to have old ads or sold items automatically disappear after a certain period of time? I remember it was difficult looking through the pages of the classified sections since they were full of sold items or sellers would not respond to you if the old item in the ad was still avail...

I’m still surprised that the operator of the site did not maintain a secondary backup off site as a contingency to prevent a total loss from occurring.
