Re: Muzzle loading...anybody shoot front stuffers?
I'm in AJ so either range is close enough. I guess I'll stop in and check it out.

Muzzle loading...anybody shoot front stuffers?
I'm somewhat surprised there isn't a sub-forum or at least some discussion on this subject. I like shooting blackpowder, but haven't in a while. I traded into a flintlock .45 rifle and have yet to fire it.

Re: What Did You Do in the Reloading Room Today?
I've been going through my brass and found I have way too much 30-06. I'm starting to clean and sort it. It's once fired and deprimed commercial. I'm Keeping the military to reform into 7x57 and 7.65. I even found 100 cases of virgin Winchester brass. I guess I'll be doing some horse trading with it...

Re: Rifle, Carbine and Long-Arms Picture Thread!
Here is a dedicated .22 I built as a 605 replica carbine. I used a Spikes 16" barrel, Ciener kit that was made for the Spikes, A modified M16A1 upper, and original furniture. I use Black Dog 25 rd mags .

I formed some 7.65x53 Argentine brass out of 30-06. I've never done that before and was surprised how easy the brass reformed.

Re: Corrosive primers?
Hoppe's #9 is my choice. Maybe because I ended up with a huge bottle of it, but it does the job. The odor takes me back 60 years to where my dad opened up the gun locker and I got to gaze at his treasures. All my X54 and a lot of my X39 is corrosive, and #9 has kept the corrosion at bay.

Refugee from Oregon, bought a house in Apache Junction, I'm loving it here! Looking forward to getting involved here. From antiques to ARs, I love them all.
