Re: AZ pew shops, let’s hear about the good ones
Note the lack of Tucson shops. Alas, no more Jensen's. Loved Jensen's and their cheap reloads. At the westside indoor range they would replace any non-firing rounds. These days, it's kind of a crap shoot in Tucson. A lot of people like Murphy's and Diamondback, but I never seem to get anyone to hel...

Re: Need help finding an FFL near Tucson willing to work with a non-immigrant alien!
Thee best shop in Tucson, IMHO, is Murphy's. Try them first. There's some experienced old-timers there. Meh, been going on and out of Murphy's for over 20 years, can never get helped in there so I haven't been back in 10. Miss the old Jensen's on Pima. The people at SNG Tactical are great. Maybe tr...

Re: Concealed Carry: G43 vs 43X
My EDC is split between a Taurus Spectrum (pocket) and S&W Shield Plus (kidney). I deal with a lot of Glocks but I am not a Glock guy. In my opinion though, the 43X is the better of the two primarily due to grip length. Many customers come to look at the 43 and leave with a 43X. I would seriousl...

If it helps with your decision they are an Arizona based company. Headquarters is in Tucson near Speedway and Camino Seco.

It's been about 20 years since they had a war so I guess they are due. Two neighbors who really hate each other.

Re: Shadow Systems
I have sold a few of these guns. They are much lighter than the comparable Glock model. Trigger is a tad better, but I have never really messed with any aftermarket Glock triggers to compare. They are cool looking, I will give them that. I guess the real selling point is supposed to be the customer ...

Re: Smith & Wesson M&P FPC 9mm
Have sold a few. The more I handle it, the more I dislike it. I guess if you are a S&W M&P shooter it makes sense. It feels clunky to me, I don't like the charging handle that also serves as the locking latch when folded. The magazine stock storage feature is novel but poorly executed IMO. P...

Re: Fat Guy Holster Anyone?
Why I pocket carry. I buy Wrangler cargo pants that stretch a bit and the pockets are huge. I lose pens in my pockets because they are so big. Also the Dickies ripstop cargp pants have fairly large pockets too but not as big as the Wrangler ones

Re: DEFINE ASSAULT WEAPON
One of my friends bought a bug-a-salt rifle and we loaded with the salt and vinegar powder used on chicken wings. Worked great on flies but I am curious what a blast to the face and eyes can do. Opening the bag of it can take your breath away.

Re: NEW AND IMPROVED 4473
All to try and make it more difficult on the FFL and purchaser. Nothing of value was added, I think it’s to make the form so confusing that if it’s not filled out correctly that it can result in violations for the FFL to help get their license revoked, and easier to deny the applicant. That is exac...

Re: Pentagon's plan to address suicides: restrict access to guns
As far as I know, if you live in the dorms, gun must be stored in the armory. If you live in housing and buy on base, security forces must be notified that you own, demonstrate safe storage, and know location of firearms. Also, multiple purchase forms get mailed to security forces as well as ATF and...
