Re: M1 Carbine Fans - A Couple of Videos
The problem with the M1 & M2 in Korea was that it was so cold that the enemy wore layer upon layer of clothing which the carbine had difficulty penetrating.

The bullet jacket is not brass. It is just a different mix of gilding metal.

Re: Need help finding an FFL near Tucson willing to work with a non-immigrant alien!
I wouldn't touch this one if I was an FFL either. Especially if you're utilizing a hunting license but trying to buy a gun not typically used for hunting. "not typically used for hunting...." Ahem. This has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. I just sold two handguns to a non-immigrant alien, dotting ...

Re: What to do with Reloads?
I thought about possibly trading for something but wouldn't that be considered to be like selling? If you offload some reloads, no matter the method, you are NOT in the BUSINESS of making and selling ammunition. No license needed. Even if you have records for what went into the ammo, I surely would...

Get a spray can of Blue Dykem layout fluid and dust the rounds in a pan.
Not pretty but it makes stuff easier to find.

Re: Factory second Bullets
Received emails from a couple places now with sales on Factory Second Bullets. Could always use more bullets. Anyone ever try them? Any feedback? Years ago I purchased 3,000 240 grn and 2,000 300 grn JHPs from one of the larger internet supply houses. Seconds, clearly Hornady but not marked as such...

Re: WARNING: Polish .308 ammo advertized as "non-corrosive" is in fact corrosive
There are lots of techniques. I personally enjoy and use Ballistol. It was developed by the Germans prior to WW1 and used and issued by the Wehrmacht up through WW2. Part of the reason so many German weapons survived in usable condition to this day is their use of Ballistol during those years when ...

Re: Problem loading .223
So, after all lis said and done, if the round fits in the barrel, is it SAFE to shoot? Yes and no. Yes, if you will only be shooting that ammo in that gun. But if those loads somehow get into another gun,...no,...not safe,...or they might just not chamber in another gun. Once upon a time, my Dad ha...

Re: New to AZ
I moved here after living in Commiefornia for over 40 years, about 35 years too long. I call Arizona the state "Where Free Men Live!" I've bought suppressors and subguns since I moved here. --> What's not to LOVE about Arizona? And, no. I am not a "Commiefornia Liberal." Don't wo...
