Re: Having to sift through a dead man's gun stuff

I've gone through that, and I made up some spreadsheets in the Apple Pages app that work well for everything record and value wise. I even made one for my ammo and my survival cabinet so there is no question of what is there and at least on the weapon side value since I really didn't do that on the ...

Re: Sportsman's Warehouse

My first and last time I went to the local one I was ready to spend about 3K on a variety of weapons I was looking at. The counter person said, "Nope we don't have any of what you're looking for and have no idea when we will". Ok, I left and ordered everything I wanted from Tombstone Tacti...

Re: Firearms "expert" points gun at judge

Ok first of all why would someone else within the courts personnel check the weapons before they would even be allowed into the court room. Second if they are that obviously worried about the evil revolvers why wouldn't they have done all of that before handing them to the "expert".

Re: Talk to me about MRE's

We just recently rotated some of ours. They have been stored in the garage so have been through the temperatures we get in Oro Valley. They had previously been stored in the relatively same environment weather wise before moving. They were all over ten years old and my SIL has used them for camping ...

I'm jealous of the obvious disposable income that's involved in buying them. :)

Re: Talk to me about MRE's

I've ordered the Amazon linked ones from Food Dude 82nd, and they seem to be the freshest ones with inspection dates of 2024, so technically 5 years from that date they would "expire" but they last even longer is stored well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB74PZST?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_...

Re: New modern take on the classic potato canon: 18 rounds per minute

I would drill a very small hole in the head of the projectile (small enough to seal it) and glue from the inside a cherry bomb or m-80 with the fuse out the head of the projectile. Light the fuse and then fire the cannon. That would be worth my time.

Re: Talk to me about MRE's

I've bought from many different sources, a couple of things stand out. When they are "on sale" that usually means that either they are getting near their expiration date or they have been mishandled. I bought a case of ten from "That Daily Deal" and I always will open one to insp...
