Re: Anybody turn their case necks ?
Thank you both very much. Flash- I needed the confirmation that opening the chamber may be the right thing to do. I have read several of your posts and have absolute confidence in the knowledge you provide. My employer has an account with PTG. I will check to see if I can get a discount. Lol . . .yo...

Anybody turn their case necks ?
I have been loading 30+ years . . .but never turned case necks (trimmed yes, TURNED no). I need a tips, tricks, and "pitfalls" lesson on turning case necks. Background: I love my 300 blk. I am converting Lapua 223 rem cases to 300 blk. Due to the thickness of the case walls I am having som...

Re: stupid reloading question #559
Alex,
I have the same feedback as Flash. Uase a moderate to slow speed. I have de-capped live primers in a "universal" de-capper, FL sizing die, and noe in the Frankford Arsenal hand de-capper. I have yet to have one pop.
As always, best wishes to you !

Ahhhh . ..it is great to live vicariously . . . . I have been doing "honey-do's" so the wife can have the house interior re-painted. Due to ammo shortage/expense I have been using non-firing training aids and doing case prep (I HATE case prep). Thanks for the stroll down jealousy lane . .lol

Re: 10mm AR
If I did a PCC I would go with a 10mm also. When you have a finished product that you are happy with I would be interested in the details of the build and how to solve the problems.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Red dot suggestions please
I also have a Trijicon gen2 RMR. I bought it because a friend of mine (with more $$ to experiment) has used many different sights and likes RMR best. I have eyes that are increasingly difficult to focus this is a great solution. It takes practice to regain speed but I see a measurable improvement in...

Re: The Whole Ammo and Components Shortage Thing
My speculation is that there will be no "new" infrastructure to manufacture primers. At least not in the "near future". My reasoning: the entity I work for considered making primers. The compounds in the primer mix are only "mostly stable" when they are wet. Thus they c...

Re: the doggonedest gun
Hmmm.... I think that if you could get optics on it and shoot it from laying on your back it would be great for longer range with fast follow up shots using your bent leg as support. You could not do that with a standard revo. Limited application for sure . . .but if that is what your need is . . . ...

Re: How do you like the Ruger Precision 22lr rifle?
Mine has comparable accuracy to my 10/22. I went to the Lapua test tunnel in North Mesa and got to compare it with a Voodoo Tactical, Walther KK300, and Walther KK500. The Ruger Precision Rimfire will never compete with them. However, the Ruger price is much more affordable, and has all the features...
