Re: Sig 229 Enhanced Elite
I like both the 229 and SRT trigger. I think the $1200 makes it more of a niche/"for the collection" type of gun.

Ben Avery - still limited to 90 minutes?
Ben Avery's site says they still use 90-minute slots. Is this still the case on weekdays? Even with a bunch of open lanes do they still make people leave?

Re: Seeking Advice: Emergency Insulin Refrigeration Solutions for Power Outages in High Heat
That package you listed from Costco is a good deal. It's got more juice than you need, but I think it's worth it for piece of mind and being able to run things longer between charges if needed. You shouldn't have trouble running any dorm sized fridge on that, but the lowest cost-per-year should refl...

Re: Seeking Advice: Emergency Insulin Refrigeration Solutions for Power Outages in High Heat
A battery powered generator plus solar panels to charge it could work. Keep in mind, a fridge has much higher starting loads than running, so probably better to get a dorm fridge. A more "outside the box" option is a countertop ice maker. And yes, a traditional gas generator would also wor...

Re: Springfield Echelon
A reasonable question. I also like (not require) having a paper manual as a hard reference, and as part of a more complete firearm purchase package. Sometimes, I find it faster to just look it up on paper. Also, anything online can be altered, or unavailable if power/web goes down. In the case of th...

It may be a muzzle loading pistol. Not saying this person is a felon, but is a felon allowed to carry a muzzle loader?

Re: Arizona; Address on DL/ID
An FFL needs two things provided on valid, government-issued documentation. 1. ID (Photo, DoB, Name) 2. Current Address This can be done with one or multiple documents. For example, if a person's DL is valid and accurate with the exception of address, we can use a supplement like their car registrat...

25mm M793 legal to own?
I have a friend with a 25mm round. I did a little research...it's technically a training round. Are these legal for us regular folk to own?

What can you run with 13k? Curious how much is needed for basic needs vs going about the day as normal.
