Re: Which backpack for a BOB?
I've been through every day work backpacks trying to find cheap Amazon bags that last and it's been a losing, expensive proposal. I switched to First Tactical's Tactic line and they're awesome. Tough, heavyweight bags that are well thought out; can even add a rifle bag to it! Just expensive... https...

I'd imagine it has no impact on the 4473 as you say. Until Congress and the President decide to legalize it and change the 4473 you'd still be required to disclose usage and be prohibited. (And liable for prosecution.)

Re: "Banana Republic" vest
Tried to find out the brand a guy I know wears, but couldn't remember his number. Here's an article with a few in it: https://www.americanfirearms.org/concealed-carry-vests/ You may like one of them if the 5.11 one doesn't work for you.

Have you asked the lawyer/law firm you had review your info? They may be able to help.

Re: They found out
Is there anyone else who opens these threads where there's a Tweet, and you just get a blank box: ........Loading Tweet........... ??? I have to click on the actual thing for it to load. That one was pretty shocking. I bet the rider would be subect to charges there in the Mother Country. Yep, it's ...

Re: Emergency antibiotics supply
If it's too late and you don't have access to a doctor, honey is an old way of treating wounds and has antibiotic qualities. Maybe add bees and a hive to the bug out list?

Not really, they're ammo/powder sniffing dogs. If you're really that paranoid, store the ammo separately from the (cleaned) guns. Problem solved!

Yep, have had a Kimber Eclipse in the officer size and never had had any issues in over a thousand rounds.

Thanks for the heads up! I like this option for a carry gun along with the decent pricing.

Re: Do you shop at a mall with a gun-sniffing dog?
So when a place posts the "No Firearms" signs, what's the violation/code if you ignore it? I assume that's what these K9 LEOs are trying to enforce in NC. I thought it was just a trespass type of thing here. Surely not worth the investment in K9s, training, handlers, etc.

Re: Shipping Backlog
The bigger issue is here - longshoremen and truckers. Can't get enough people to unload and truck the goods out. Ships are piling up in port.

Re: EAA GIRSAN MC P35
The Girsan looks to be out under $500 versus the Springfield which I don't see available yet around here but will be closer to $700. Will be nice to have a High Power clone that works great at decent prices.
