Re: Palmetto State Armory

PSA actually had what I wanted in stock. It will be here to my FFL on Friday July 8, providing UPS doesn’t cancel the account with PSA.

Looking for good FFL around Waddell,AZ

I’m looking for a good FFL that is very knowledgeable and can help me find a retro M16 style AR15 20” and interested also in a couple of pistols. Reasonable transfer rates etc. I do have an AZ CCW. Would rather work with them than the big retailers.

Re: Palmetto State Armory

I absolutely love and enjoy the PSA upper I have mated to a Sionics lower. In fact I am trying to locate a PSA complete or upper to create the retro M16. They are always out of stock. Very maddening.

Looking to go shooting in far west valley

Grew up in Phoenix and Glendale and lived in the east valley for the last 30 years. Now live in Waddell. I’m looking for those who like to get together and go shooting in the west valley. With urban sprawl, I don’t know of any places since the area by Miller and I10 was closed down. Hit me up and le...

Re: Interested in building a 9mm AR

I built a 9mm CMMG Banshee from their parts catalog on a standard AR15 pistol lower, using converted Pmags with the MeanArms 9mm kits. It cost less than buying a genuine Banshee from CMMG with their branded Glock mag lower, but the mags cost more. Feeding has been 100%, however. If you plan on ever...

Re: Interested in building a 9mm AR

could be economics are the issue, some of the pcc parts are outrageous. in any event, glock or colt mags, i have both and both run like clockwork, as with the pcc, one must sometimes play smith with them, presently struggling with a .45acp pcc, hope to in the next few weeks get it to also run like ...

Re: Looking for a great back holster for P229 Elite

Are you set on this way of carrying? Would you mind me asking why and could I possibly suggest either an appendix or strong side carry? For two main reasons why I would not suggest it: 1. You don't have eyes in the back of your head to prevent a snatch from behind. 2. It not safe for you, should yo...

Re: What is Your favorite Rifle?

Mine was a Winchester model 94 .22 lever action that my Dad gave me when I was in 3 rd grade in 1966 and I had it till I was a sophmore at Alhambra high when my Stepbrother and his friend stole it to sell for drugs. I miss that rifle to this day. Now my fave is my PSA and Sionics AR.

What about reloading supplies such as bullets, primers and powder. Are they just as scarce? I don’t live close to any gun stores out here in Waddell.

New but not new

I’m confused, is this the new site that replaced the original AZ Shooting. If so, this is absolutely awesome. Still, if it isn’t, I was jonesing for another great local firearms community site. I was a member of the original for many years. Please feel free to reach out to me. I bought and sold many...
