I17 to route 87.. AZs Darien Gap?

Spent a bit of time in the Mazatzal and Bloody Basin and I've always been curious whether you can do an OHV "crossing" from I17 to 87 in the wilderness north of Phoenix and south of the 260--and what kind of setup you'd need? Are the two big obstacles the Verde and the Mazatzal Range?

Re: Apache/San Carlos gfd?

Thanks guys... last drive out to NM on the 60 early in the Fall, every junction into tribal land had a manned checkpoint as the reservations were basically closed to non tribe members or essential workers. The tribes have a pretty amazing resource in the wilderness out there, disappointing that it's...

Re: Thieves/Scammers

Thanks for sharing.. is it allowed to share info so we can watch out for this guy? I can see why it might be against forum rules to post phone or address details, but figured I'd ask at least.

CCW + training?

Asking for SO: are there any CCW classes that do basic handgun training and range time as part of the course? I know most of the classes are probably rightfully geared up for people that are already trained or knowledgeable and just want to get their CCW, but figured I'd at least see what's out there.

Re: Apache/San Carlos gfd?

Thanks McKnight.. that'd be a good start, sounds like he'll know as much as anyone about how things are going over there. I'll do some digging for contact info.

Apache/San Carlos gfd?

Had an opportunity about 15 years back to do a 5 day hunt elk there, beautiful country and a good experience. Recently back in AZ and reading up, draw and tag info on the native websites looks like a bit of a cluster**** post-COVID. Anyone have any experience working with game officials and what the...

R700 bdl flush bottom metal for dbm?

Subject sums it up... can anyone suggest a quality bottom metal for a dbm that sits flush--or close to flush--with the stock on a R700? BDL would be great, but open to other profiles too.
