Re: coated boolits
You may want to try Bear Creek Supply, bearcreeksupplybullets.com. Their bullets are moly coated and normally stocked most used weight and calibers. Prices are best I've found and have used them for years. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Re: Cleaning out a powder measure
While air blasts would seem sufficient, I don't have air in my reloading space and simply empty the powder, invert the measure and tap with wood block/leather mallet. Cycle the handle, inspect and ready for use.

Is Number of Rounds Fired Important?
Three years ago I offered for sale on Armslist a Dan 'Wesson full sized 1911 in 45ACP. I believed the price to be fair and listed new grips, a fiber optic front sight and extra magazines. Lots of low balls which I passed until I received one reasonable serious buyer who was interested in rounds fire...

Re: Clays Powder
A popular powder for 45 Colt and 45ACP. Been using Clays for both for many years. Burns clean and works through the powder measure without difficulty. 9mm is possible but why when Titegroup is better.

Re: The New Normal?
I'm not convinced that what we are currently experiencing is the New Normal. I realize ammunition, powder and primers are almost non-existent for high demand calibers. But, there are currently no laws regarding their manufacture and sale. Surely more weapon sales have driven up significant demand an...

Re: Buying Through Base Exchange
Just purchased my wife a new computer which was not available a Luke. Shipped directly to our home at no cost. Not quite as easy as Amazon but still no tax and can be easier than the base if driving is a
problem.
problem.

Well, I am hopeful I have sufficient powder for the four years of Biden. But you are sufficiently stocked to make it into 2030 and beyond.

Re: 22-250 rifles
There is nothing better than 22-250 for varmints when the weather conditions include light winds. Stiff winds shove the bullet a bunch at longer ranges. I never liked the 22-250 for coyotes as the recoil always took me of target and allowed the second coyote to escape. 223 way just a deadly and allo...

Re: Its Offical -- CZ buys Colt
CZ greatly improved the quality if firearms at Dan Wesson and may provide the same improvement in quality at Colt as well.

Re: What Did You Do in the Reloading Room Today?
Finished loading four ICORE matches worth of 45ACP. Small pistol primers to keep them separated from my other 1911 loads. The ICORE pistol uses moon clips as the perfect method to separate SPP from LPP ammo. And lots of brass for me since most 45ACP shooters can not stand those small primers.

Re: the doggonedest gun
Strange! I'm going to guess the lowering of the cylinder is to reduce the upward momentum of recoil. But the sheer clumsiness of this thing limits it usefulness for anything but a boat anchor.

Re: Buyer w/AZ I/D only NOT D/L?
There may be more individuals with an out-of-state DL and an AZ ID than you think. Consider active duty military stationed to Luke AFB who are legal residents of another state. And show-birds who come to AZ in the winter and own a home in the area. I did that for 15 years while an Idaho resident and...

This pair is just plain stupid and dangerous! Consider what would have occurred had they been able to actually enter the home.

While rather new to the ArizonaShooting.Org, I am surely not new to this nation or to the principals upon which it way founded. I first retired in 1982 form serving a career in the United State Air Force. My second retirement was for a Colorado school district in 1997 followed by some very rewarding...

Re: Best gun org to support?
There surely must be agents/organizations that are effective in supporting our 2nd Amendment rights but I am hesitant to consider the NRA a lost cause. If for no other reason that the amount of continuous effort from the left to discredit or eliminate their voice in the national debate. I would sugg...
