Re: Ultimate Survival Rifle Build
The 10/22 Charger has an 8" barrel and you can put a folding brace on it. I don't know what velocity loss between an 8 and 16" barrel would be but I doubt it would be much. Just a thought

Re: 2011s
Stacatto XC DPO 9mm 816781017539 was about $4,500 but is an absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship. My nephew has one, but I could not bring myself to cough up that much cash. I briefly had and sold a prodigy and was unimpressed; I had a ton of issues with it. It may be me. I'm a 1911 guy and have be...

Re: AR pistol or SBR with folding mechanism
I can second (or third) a few points here. The Jakl is excellent as is the Law Tactical folding adapter. I carry a pistol always but in some situations I do carry a rifle in a discreet case, with a folder and QD (Dead Air Keymo) attach for the can. I bring that with me frequently when either situati...

Re: General Officers Model 1911
Fairly certain that was an M15 in the Army. Commander sized so it takes Gov't mags. It looks to be correct from memory if that slide top is matte finished, but they are not common. Can you read who it was awarded to? It should be engraved on the grip. This was a very short run and only about a thous...

Re: So Biden just pardoned a bunch of pot possessors - can they now own guns with a pardon?
The pardon is only for people with federal convictions for simple possession and won't really impact very many people. He is asking governors to do the same for state level convictions.

Re: Vista announces price increases on all ammo
Colt-CZ just bought Sellier & Bellot (S&B) ammo, but since they bought it from CBC (who also owns magtech branded ammo) I hope it won't impact pricing at all.

Thank you both very much. I appreciate all the time and effort you all put into this for me. I read this on my phone but there's no way I can type on it, then forgot to thank you. Sorry!

Easy to rack pistol
Gents, I would appreciate your help. My father is 90 or 91, something like that, and still shoots with me sometimes. He cannot rack a slide on most traditional pistols. I got him a S&W Shield EZ and he is able to handle that one just fine and loves the pistol. The problem is (like was brought up...

Re: Are Anderson M4's any good ?
I have a couple of the $399 Anderson complete rifles because they were such a good deal. I had to replace the trigger (I'm a terrible trigger snob) but they just run like they should and do what you ask. I wouldn't hesitate for a truck gun. I've only put a few thousand through each one though so I c...

RMR for my projectiles except for 220 gr 308 for BLK. Typically Berry's plated for those and I shop each time

Re: Federal Judge declares US v. Bruen invalidates federal felon prohibition statutes
I don't really understand your reply. It sounds like you believe tax authority is unlawful? Sorry. Not trying to be obtuse, I just don't get your point with slavery. $200 in 1934 is the same as $4,608 in May 2023. If they had tried to keep raising that price (tied to inflation) we could have gotten ...
