While there are many things to criticize, they got the job done and no innocent people injured.

If the price is right I'd consider picking one up. I'm glad they went with CZ Scorpion mags.
They're going to sell a lot of AKs with that pistol brace.

Phoenix Custom Rifles

Re: Remington 870 DM with detachable box magazine
Marketing based on novelty. If you think you need a quick change magazine for your home defense shotgun because you may need 34 rounds to protect yourself, 1. you suck at shooting, 2. you don't live in a John Woo movie, and 3. you are going to be spending a lot of time patching drywall. Pass. Who h...

Re: Rail mounted lights
It would be side mounted on a pistol or rifle caliber sbr. AA or AAA batteries because I won't use the light much and if the battery is low or dead I'll always have a AA or AAA battery available, instead of buying more expensive batteries just for the one light. Looks the the Streamlight Rail 1 is t...

Re: another Reflex Sight question.
The Vortex Spitfire has an etched reticle so even with a dead battery it's useful. It has red and green color options. Since it's a prism type sight it's clear even if you have astigmatism. I haven't been to Cabela's in awhile, but at one point they had a display of different sights mounted on fake ...

In the price point it's hard to beat a Vortex with the lifetime warranty.
