Re: Thoughts on prefit barrels
After building 4 Remington 700's from complete receiver groups myself, 2 on a Remage barrel set up (6x45mm and .243 Win) and 2 on barrel blanks (30-06 and 300 WM). While doing all the work of cutting the chambers and tenon threads on the barrel blanks was fun and a great learning experience. Going f...

Re: Rocksett Question
Just stick with red loctite...it will be much easier (just heat) to remove in the future. Properly installed rocksett is basically permanent. If you were mouting a suppressor muzzle adapter to a full-auto belt fed, then maybe I'd go with rocksett...but for a semi-auto you won't be able to get the m...

Re: Guns Stores/Pawn Shops that Sell Surplus Firearms
If you are on the East Side, AZ Firearms has 2 locations, 1 in Tempe and another in Chandler, both will sometimes have surplus. Many of the gun shops i've visited in the east valley sell new guns exclusively. I've heard good things about Bear arms in Scottsdale, but only been there once. AZ Firearm...

This place: https://shop.azfirearms.com./ Went in there about 2 weeks ago and walked out broke but happy. No idea how I ever missed this place but I did. They have more milsurps than you have money, promise. PJ is the man. That link above is not PJ's store, this one is. https://www.arizona-firearms...

Re: ATF activity at Crossroads show today?
Pretty much there was a quick "meeting" before the show opened on Saturday about there MAY be some undercover ATF agents trying some shenanigans and to conduct ourselves accordingly when selling guns. I managed to pick up some really good deals on things I had on my wish list (only had 2 t...

Re: Mesa show 6/25 - 6/26
I picked up a Hornady 300 Blk case gauge for $10 and got a great deal on a Benelli M1 S90 with a 28" vent rib barrel. Also picked up one of the M&P Shield Plus factory combo packs with the factory night sites, 3 extra 13 round mags and mini back pack for $549 plus tax. Overall not a bad sho...

Re: Rio Salado Swap Meet Oct 23
Was a really good buying show. Picked up a complete RL450 for $100 that has the upgraded priming system and powder measure, basicly a rl550 with a fixed toolhead. I'll drop a set of Dillon 30-06 dies on it beings it already came with a #1 shellplate.
