Re: Garand Thumb tests a $400 PSA upper

They are probably selling all they can make. Most AR guys are not into accuracy, just the bang. I suspect it is an outside barrel supplier that makes them to a price point. I offered to send the lousy barrel back so they could QC inspect the thing. They were not interested, which says a lot IMHO. Th...

Re: Garand Thumb tests a $400 PSA upper

The cops went home safe that night, I keep hearing that is what is most important.

The girl, not so much.

"in conformity with the law"

Stopping to ponder the law is a great way to get killed, I think.

Not by me.

The "special" treatment and attitude of various agents of the government has p!ssed me of for quite a few years.

Re: Garand Thumb tests a $400 PSA upper

Wish they had examined the chamber reaming better.

I posted my disastrous PSA Freedom barrel with grossly off center chamber reaming.
Never again.

The Shield Plus is about 0.2" thinner than the 30. Big difference in bulk stuffed IWB.

Out of curiousity, how did you carry the 30?

I have one and could not get the bulk comfortable in the several holsters I tried.

Ended up with a fanny pack.

Some companies are set up to use UPS, so might not always be a choice.

I prefer not using any company dominated by a union.
