Re: Have braces become good enough to outweigh the hassle of transporting NFA SBR out of state?
The SBA3 brace is perfectly functional, maintains pistol status - which is important for some state's travel requirements, and negates the need for paperwork and notifications. As you said, as long as the ATF bologna ceases and we can stay legal, there's zero reason (in my opinion and experience) no...

Re: Armslist Commits Suicide
Yeah, no great loss. I ran into as many folks I'd rather not sell to/buy from on there as I have with Backpage.
Besides, it'll be one less place to get the "damn I want that" feels.

Re: Donald Trump: I’ll Sign National Reciprocity if It Reaches My Desk
I have my doubts. They had the WH, House, and Senate from 2016-2018. How many pro 2A bills or pieces of legislation did they pass? Anybody? Exactly. We can hope, if he gets a second term, but either way it's just a wish. As my grandma used to say "wish in one hand and s*** in the other, you'll...

Re: Budget range finder
Check out Play It Again Sports. I found a golf rangefinder for $70 a couple years ago. 300yd, water proof, and it's been accurate for me. It's not high speed camo or anything but it gets the job done well enough to make the shot.

Agreed: pepper spray could have provided a better chance at egress. He clearly doesn't have the hand to hand skills to stand his ground. Glad it didn't end even worse for him and his lady. How those videos are labelled? That really boils my blood. Malls already have a toe tag on, and when they let t...

Another attack on 2A: 80% Lawsuit
Well, here is another lawsuit, this time against the ATF's standing on 80% classifications:

This will increase visability in the media, I imagine, and become more fodder for diminishing our rights.

Re: Shotshell Reloading - Lee Load All II
Be advised that reloading components are scarce right now and that even when you could get them, you could only save money reloading 12 and 20 gauge if you reloaded odd things like spreaders or specialty rounds of some sort. There was and is money to be saved if you reload 16 gauge, 28 gauge or 410...

Re: Shotshell Reloading - Lee Load All II
I've never used the Lee unit, but like all things Lee, some love it, some hate it. I'm a Lee fan but can't say one way or another. OTOH, I've got over 50 years experience with the MEC units and have 3 600 Jrs., 12 gauge, 20 gauge and 410 bore and 1 9000G in 20 Gauge. You can't go wrong with the MEC...

Shotshell Reloading - Lee Load All II
Looking to cover all the bases with my entry into reloading, and wondered if anyone had some experience with Lee's Load All regarding accuracy of dispensing, reliability, etc. I haven't laid hands on one, but after watching some videos it doesn't look all that sturdy. At that price point (~$80) is i...

Re: The new ammo shortage panic has begun
Invest in a trip to TCCI in Laveen. They get too much call volume, so don't bother trying to get a hold of them and any info that way. Just drop in and see if they have primers. They may not, but they usually have powder. Not in a great variety, mind you. Mostly what they have is militaty surplus p...

Re: The new ammo shortage panic has begun
There are a number of problems in the manufacturing and supply chain, number one being lack of raw materials... I agree and think that's the big bottleneck too. I'm just getting into reloading - yes, I know, way too late to the game - and finding small pistol primers seems pretty impossible right n...

Re: New guy from Tucson
Greetings, I'm new ish to Tucson and new to the group. I was noticing mostly Phoenix based posts, glad to see some like minded people nearby. You guys do any shooting this summer or waiting for the weather to cool down? Welcome. Seems there's a few of us here in Tucson. I'm holding off on range tim...
