Well, I started down the path of building a Colt 607... my wallet hurts
I've wanted an XM177E2 and a 607 for as long as I can remember. A couple years ago, I put together my XM177E2, SBR'ed it and am happy with it. But I've always kicked the can down the road for a 607 due to cost, complexity and difficulty finding the parts. Well, no more - I've decided to rip that ban...

Re: Logged off every time I come back
The answer as to why is in post #5 above. Looking at just the posters mentioning the issue, in this thread: Doc has posted from ~125 different IP addresses! action magic has posted from over 250 different IP addresses! javelinadave has posted from 10 different IP's. I'd try deleting your cache and ...

Re: Logged off every time I come back
lol... no IIS here. It runs Apache on Ubuntu Linux. IP validation is done on the first 3 octets, so if your ISP is changing IP's on your, or you're behind a proxy or firewall that masks it or randomizes it, you will have to log in a lot more or you switch from, say, the internet on your carrier to W...

Re: Logged off every time I come back
I can't see why this would be happening from the site side. It has to do with your cookies and IP address. If you're changing IP's, then it could cause that.

The warrant is out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH1oYJvWMf0 I'll save you some time if you don't want to hear the whole thing... He was apparently buying and flipping a significant amount of guns, operating as a business, without a FFL. ie, he'd buy 20 of the same model glock and then go to mult...

Re: Having to sift through a dead man's gun stuff
Sorry for your loss. I keep a list of prices of the firearms I have, along with mag quantities, types, etc. I try to update the values on a yearly basis as they change over time. I have a few higher dollar accessories included in that spreadsheet; things like optics... but it doesn't include stuff i...

Re: Big Brother is Watching! Project TYR
That won't have the slightest impact on me posting images of my guns.
How would they know if I still own it or not - or haven't owned it for years? I have a lot of pics of guns that I no longer own.

Re: Ben Avery - still limited to 90 minutes?
That's good to hear that they have mostly returned to pre-COVID rules; at least for the weekdays. That's the main reason I stopped going. I HATED going there and paying $10 to shoot for 90 minutes with half the time spent waiting for people to walk to and from targets. Sounds like they still do that...

Re: Ben Avery - still limited to 90 minutes?
Are you sure about that? That would mean that they walked the changes back that they made during COVID. The fact that this is still up and lined from the Ben Avery main site suggests that it is all still in place. 90 minute sessions for $7 on the main range, regardless of the day. https://live-gener...

Re: Post Office gun ban is unconstitutional
Short answer; no - not unless you are Emmanuel Ayala - as it's a narrow ruling.
Skip to 4:21 if you are already familiar with the ruling:
Eventually, someone will need to come along with an equal protection challenge to have it extend to others.

Re: Will an "Upgrade" Hurt Value?
While we look at C&R's like the SKS and think, "wow, that's a $179 rifle, it's crazy how much they sell for now"... I had to change my perspective to think, "what would that rifle cost to make today?" The only reason SKS's, Mosin's and others were so cheap was the supply of t...
