Re: Fed judges rules 1986 MG ban is unconstitutional per Bruen

Forcing a review of this is good. As much as I'm happy with a lot of what SCOTUS has said in this space, I'm not optimistic that they are going to overturn that ban... but man... it would be fun if they do...

Re: Having to sift through a dead man's gun stuff

Not surprising given the current political climate around prosecutors offices... The "punishing crime is racist" mindset is simply absurd.

Re: 2011s

Maybe it’s just my luck and the group I run with. We’ve had so many issues with staccato. Mostly the optic plates coming loose. Has anyone run a Bul Armory. A friend has a prodigy and it’s nice for the price but you can feel the lack of refinement between it and the staccato This is absolutely NOT ...

Re: Hmmmm,...armor plates, maybe?

If someone buys one - please post pictures of what both handgun and rifle rounds do to it. Guessing it's mild steel - and other than testing how mild steel of that thickness handles various rounds I'd probably not want to use it for shooting purposes. If for some reason it behaves like AR500 materia...

Re: Red Dot on a handgun .. any regrets?

FWIW - RDS shooting sure seems to be a perishable skill - at least at the level that I've been doing it (probably 2000-3000 rounds through it since this post started). I had gotten to the point that I felt pretty comfortable shooting through the dot - and started carrying the RDS equipped gun. For a...

Re: Is this lower trash now?

If you have some emotional attachment to that lower - I'm sure it can be fixed... You could probably fix it "ugly" with a dremel, some plastic-appropriate epoxy putty of some sort, and some hand tools. If I were trying to fix something like this on the cheap I'd: * Cut out the crack to jus...

Re: 30,000 rounds of .50BMG and 7.62x39 intercepted on way to border

I'm torn... If I choose to transport 30K rounds of ammo - that's my prerogative and I don't want anyone taking it from me because they think that's "too much..." The last time I went out shooting I just grabbed my range ammo cans - and I'd guess between all of the stuff in them I'd bet tha...

Re: Nanny state forces Sig Sauer to recall red dots

This is nothing more than lawfare against the gun industry - creating unnecessary cost burden to hurt their ability to do business.

   So... Can't make this schite up. Sig obviously did NOT procure enough hookers & blow for the Consumer Product Safety Commissioners. What part of "IT'S ON A FIREARM" did the CPSC fail to comprehend??????????? My 1st concern is that my toddler grandchild will break ...

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this... I'll stop in the next time out - but if I get a .46 I'll probably look for the Hybred 46. My next buy is going to be something for the 6mm world...

Re: Recommend a locksmith to fix an electronic safe lock

I'm sure you have - but if you haven't changed the battery recently - do that before replacing it. I've found weird things happen when the battery is low. If you've done that the I'll second the suggestion to go to the manufacturer first... if that fails then go to the locksmith route.

Springfield Armory KUNA smg.jpg Springfield Armory KUNA smg 2.jpg I just learned that Springfield Armory has a SMG, chambered in 9mm and .40S&W. Sao Paulo Police just ordered 4000 of them in .40S&W. Expect to see a semi-auto braced pistol version at SHOT SHOW. Maybe they can develop a 10mm ...

Re: Blake Masters next ATF director?

I've never heard that. What IS in fact known is that Blake was hanging out at Stanford with magnate Peter Thiel (one of Elon Musk's co-founders of PayPal) in 2012 and 2013, where he became (essentially) a disciple of Thiel, influenced heavily by Libertarianism , at the same time JD Vance was also d...
