Re: Where to demo
The sporting clays range at Ben Avery is pretty excellent and I understand that there are some high end shooters there. You might want to stop in there and start a conversation with some of the coaches.

Re: 1980's CCW gear
G27... a subcompact polymer .40SW... I can't think of a gun I've hated more... Oh... wait... yes I can... the G33... :-) I'm a big guy, not recoil shy, and both of those (owned by a buddy) made it quickly onto my "nope - not for me" list. Happy to carry a subcompact 9mm or a fullsized 10mm...

Re: Customs intercepts 11,000 rounds of 7.62 coming in from Mexico
Yeah - that is strange. It's not like bulk 7.62X?? (I find it interesting that they don't specify 39/51/54) is hard to come by...

Fridays with Frank - "I Don't Work For The ATF"
I increasingly like this guy... The first segment where he says: "I don't work for the ATF" made me grin...
Then later in the set: "You're from California? Well... Welcome to America..."

Re: SIG P320
Sig just needs to man up and recall the affected guns, again, and move on. The longer they deny the issues the more they suffer in the court of public image. This is the right answer IMHO - but it's not how many businesses operate these days. The liars (lawyers) and risk management folks make a for...

Re: We Knew It
The bigger question is - will they prosecute those who initiated this sort of warrantless surveillance of American citizens? They should... Just courious. How can it be a warrantless search or surveillance , when they are reading public posts that anyone else can read ? OK - not "search" ...

Re: Best first rifle for children
I'll tell you what I did... and for the most part it is what I would do again... My kiddos were about that age (6-7) when they started shooting. I told them that I'd start taking them shooting when they could not only recite the basic rules of firearms safety, but could explain to me why each of the...

Re: Kash Patel new ATF director
Watched the Washington Gun Law video yesterday and to the degree that he's right, and that I understand it, I think it makes sense. I genuinely hope that a lot of what is going on through Patel and others is the disassembly of the entrenched structures, and the restructuring of the administrative st...

Re: Trump EO today
It's just an instruction to the AG (Bondi) to review, then report back and include plan(s) of action, where applicable. While that feels like a megaton improvement over Garland and the Biden Crime Regime, it hasn't done anything (yet?). I don't know why anyone would be excited about this EO...you a...

Re: Fed judges rules 1986 MG ban is unconstitutional per Bruen
Forcing a review of this is good. As much as I'm happy with a lot of what SCOTUS has said in this space, I'm not optimistic that they are going to overturn that ban... but man... it would be fun if they do...

Not surprising given the current political climate around prosecutors offices... The "punishing crime is racist" mindset is simply absurd.

Re: 2011s
Maybe it’s just my luck and the group I run with. We’ve had so many issues with staccato. Mostly the optic plates coming loose. Has anyone run a Bul Armory. A friend has a prodigy and it’s nice for the price but you can feel the lack of refinement between it and the staccato This is absolutely NOT ...
