Re: New to the site.
Public land shooting is still restricted, and likely will be until we get some real rain. I highly recommend Glen and his crew at Independence Training ( https://www.independencetraining.com/ ) for your firearms training. i agree they have a great reputation for their training courses (i do not hav...

Re: Best Turkey Choke and Ammo Combo
Disclaimer: I have no experience hunting turkey in AZ. I've never even seen one in AZ. The closest I've ever come is hearing one over the next hill... But, if I were going about this, I would look up choke reviews on Youtube to see how the different chokes pattern. It may be worth dropping some mor...

Re: New Guy Intro
Like many others, I lost most of my firearms in a tragic deep-water boating accident - but I have an interest in most areas of firearms ownership - the notable exception being competitive shotgun stuff (sporting clays / trap and skeet) which just never really caught my attention. I enjoy shooting a...

Re: Vortex
Just bought the Vortex Strikefire II, liked the warranty and good reviews it got on Optics Planet and some other sites. OP had it to the house in three days, out of the box the dot is not really a dot, more of a star looking thing? Will get it to the range next week and see wtf it does. if ...

Re: Albuquerque protest shooting
major charges have been dropped! he will be charged with other things... now the kid that hit him with the skateboard should be charged with assault with intent to harm/with a deadly weapon. i doubt it though.

Re: Less than Lethal
They would come apart. If you have your paintball gun running too hot it will pop them in the tube. Ball speeds are usually around 300fps. Buy a paintball gun and fire away. Mine is full-auto, has a 250 round hopper, remote air in a tactical vest, with 4 spare ball tubes... are they weaker than reg...

I've done a whole bunch of .44 mag and some .444 marlin. i know that .223/5.56 can be much harder to reload... but i'm up for it. i'll b...

Re: Best under-barrel laser light combo for a pistol.
I picked up on of the Olight BALDR Pro light/laser combos on one of their flash sales. Think it was about $100. It is a good setup, bright white light and bright green laser. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I am happy with that purchase. I would try to catch it on a sale, because the regu...
