Re: Hope this wasn’t one of us...

I've had rounds cook off in fires several times. I never worried about it since the rounds weren't in a chamber. They pop and you hear them and occasionally you can feel them bounce off of your turnouts. The first couple of times makes you nervous and then you ignore it and go about your business.

Re: Sales tax at PSA and SGAmmo

I read about the change when it occurred. Honestly I was surprised it took that long for the states to be reaching into my pocket for more money.

Re: Day 3 of my new life

10 days and 28 posts for me but no joy. Oh well. I'm trying really hard not spam but only responding when I have some reasonable input. Maybe my two posts a day will never cut it.

Re: Scope input needed

I would look at a LPVO scope like a 1-6 or 1-8. I have a 1-8 Swampfox, and I love it! It's nice to be able to dial it down to 1x when you don't want any magnification. This. At 75 yards and in a 1-6 will give you plenty of magnification, and if it's a true 1.0 optic you can easily shoot inside 15 y...

Good stuff thanks for the heads-up. I've been watching his videos for a couple of years now and I like the way he approaches things.

Welcome to Corte Bella. I work for your local fire department. Sun City West is not Sun City. They are pretty different animals even if they are both retirement communities. I think you will really enjoy Corte Bella it is a good community. On the upside there are more places to shoot on the west sid...

Just dropped mine off at Mister Silencer on the southwest corner of Greenfield/Broadway. $60 if they have to drill it and $50 if they don't. Good folks there.

Re: Ok, so I have established a Trust

I hadn't heard that strategy before. Great stuff YNOTAZ thanks! YES, as people have said keep NFA item out of your family trust and start a trust for NFA items only. Keep in mind with the new rule, 41F (if I recall correctly) you have to supply a fingerprint card and passport photo for all “responsi...

Re: How often do you clean your guns?

Pistols and AR's get cleaned every 500 rounds as history has shown me I can go well past this before there is a problem. My PRS rifle gets cleaned at 750 rounds as that is when accuracy starts to fall off.

I have POF triggers in all my AR's. They are a great trigger and can be found on sale at a very reasonable price.

Re: Corona Cash Plans

I don't think I'll get one, but if I do I'll give it to some people who really need it and/or spend it at local businesses. I've been blessed to keep my job and income and there are a lot of others who really need some money right about now.

Two is always better. I have guns for when things go bad, and when things go bad I don't want to have one of anything.

Most days it's a HK VP9 with a Holosun 508T. If not that then a Glock 17 with a 507c.
