A few years ago I picked up this Remington 7600 Anniversary Edition in .30-06 at Sportsman's Warehouse in Goodyear for $795.00. I should have bought 2 of them. It has the best Walnut I've ever seen!

Re: The coming powder shortage
There is already a powder shortage. And prices have gone sky high. With many selling at or over $50.00 a pound. This is going to get a lot worse before any of it gets better..... If it ever does. The liberals have discovered they can get the results they want with guns, by simply forcing prices on e...

Re: What's your secret sauce for disolving cosmoline?
Grease, (which is basically what Cosmoline is), cuts the best with a light oil based solvent. Clean Kerosene is just about perfect. It's cheap, will not harm wood or plastic, and cut's through the driest, thickest Cosmoline. If the smell bothers you, plain WD-40 also works very well, and it's availa...

Re: Problem loading .223
I've found out 2 things over the years, and thousands of rounds, that make reloading .223 / 5.56 MM easier in general. 1). ALWAYS use a Small Base Full Length Resizing die when resizing .223 / 5.56 MM. (Preferably carbide). 2). ALWAYS crimp with a Lee Factory Crimp Die. Do not seat and crimp with th...

Re: School me on High Powers
As far as the Hi-Power clones go, I have the Tisas Regent Stainless Steel clone. I purchased it from Brownell's a few years back. It's been a very good running pistol. (Made in the Tisas plant in Turkey). I'm told the EAA clones are also of Turkish manufacture. If you go with the new FN, be advised ...

Re: Corrosive primers?
I made up this from a 7.62 X 54 MM case for cleaning my Mosin Nagant rifles. I shoot nothing but corrosive Russian ammo in them. After shooting at the range I take a squeeze bottle full of Simple Green and water, (50 / 50 mix), and flush the bore with it. Simple Green is fantastic for this. It disso...

Re: Remington 1100
One of the very first guns I purchased was a Remington 1100 Trap Grade back in 1972. I still have it, and it still looks like the day it came out of the box. I've killed all but countless ducks and small game with it over the years. And shot thousands of clay targets with it as well. I've fired most...

Re: CMMG AR-15 .22 L.R. Conversion Kit
Just remember when you search for price with these things, that some kits come with only 1, 25 round magazine. While others come with 3. That's why there is such a wide price difference. They are also available with 10 round magazines for the communist states.

Re: Hammer Mechanic "Gunsmith"
Guilty. I borrowed a friends rifle, scope mounting bolts kept loosening. So I decided to locktite them babies in there. Red locktite turns out is for life! He snapped them while trying to remove the screws. I got to buy him some new mounts for it. Expensive lesson for this Bubbasmither Actually you...
