Re: SCOTUS reverses lower court on firearm pocession
So you screwed up and transgressed against society. You were sent to jail. You served your time and were released. So why aren't your full rights restored to you? Afterall, you paid your debt to society.

Az Firearms (avondale)
In case you are interested - or care:
I stopped by Az Firearms on Western Ave in Avondale. They no longer do direct over-the-counter sales. They are online auction only.
Sad. They were the only shop that I know of that carried a good inventory of old used firearms.

Interesting that you mention Col. Cooper. He was a fan of the Blaser rifles particularly for the "glass rod breaking" trigger.

Re: A**hat policy at Cabela's ('n Bass Pro)
I never liked Ass Pro Shop. I found that the quality of their "house" brand clothing is not up to the pre-merger Cabelas house brand. I had a pro shop jacket that seem to fall apart within 10 years or so. I bought my cabelas gore tex in 1993. Still have it; still sheds water. I'm not a new...

Re: Jim jones range
I've been a member for quite a few years. I use it mid-week mostly during the hotter months. I live in the west valley. It is 101 miles one way from my place to the gate. I'll drive up one day, shoot until supper time or later then get a motel in Payson for the night. Much better than fighting Phx &...

Re: 5 new shooting sites
My question has always been: how is the BLM going to prevent theft of the steel targets and prevent vandalism of the structures? That silly fence won't prevent either from happening. No answer has been forthcoming.

Re: Colt Python - What's the big deal?
The earlier Pythons (circa 1970-1975) had a factory trigger press that for any other word, was orgasmic. Alas, the Lawyers found out about it and convinced Colt to stiffen up the trigger. Afterwords, they were no better than a S&W - pretty good, but not like it was. I also found the fit and fini...

Re: 16 gauge ammo
I use a Sweet 16 for duck and geese. If you think it is hard to find regular shells, try to find steel shot. It's a little tough, but Mac's Prairie Wing in Stutgart Ark always has a sufficient stock. Lead and smaller size shot. Mail order, too.

1951 commercial Mauser chambered in 358 Norma Magnum; older McMillan stock and a Trijicon 3x9. I killed LOTS of elk with this rifle and a bunch of African plains game, too.
