Re: Dissipator build

That’s awesome. I have very basic dissipator-esce rifle that I really like. Makes me remember how light weight they can be without the bs on them.

How am I suppose to look inside the store and not be creepy if I'm right there in front of it?

Re: Interesting experience outside of tombstone tactical yesterday

We were north of your yellow circle. So you were here? That would definitely be bad juju. 298FD798-0AE7-47E0-8F03-5DEFE368DC9B.jpeg Yes, approximately where that white truck is parked. Again, not bad juju. If they don't want people making sales near their store, they should post something. This isn...

Re: Interesting experience outside of tombstone tactical yesterday

Did I read the original post correctly? The individual from TT stated that there was an auditor on site and in the building at the time of the meet up in their lot? I could see him doing everything he could to limit TT’s exposure to the auditors scrutiny, as well as any perceived liability from a d...

Re: Interesting experience outside of tombstone tactical yesterday

I’m sure this happens daily so I don’t blame the guy for not wanting to explain his reasons or argue for the 10,000th time. I’m not sure why exactly some of you feel entitled to conduct business on someone else’s property. If you don’t trust the other person enough to do the deal at your house, wha...

Re: Interesting experience outside of tombstone tactical yesterday

Well, you could call Tombstone Tactical and ask what it was about, or we can continue to speculate based on one person's version of what occurred. I'd imagine that Tombstone is already agitated and on-edge if they have their ATF inspection going on and don't want to provide any more ammunition (fig...

Re: Interesting experience outside of tombstone tactical yesterday

The atf MIGHT have been able to do something with the ffl but not the private sale people. Now if tombstone is the sole proprietor of the mall parking lot then it could be construed by a stretch as involving them and someone could be told to leave the property. Someone refusing to leave assuming to...

Interesting experience outside of tombstone tactical yesterday

Meet up with a guy to sell a rifle and he suggested the Tombstone Tactical parking lot as a "gun friendly" place that was in the middle between our two locations. I get there, park between the old building and the underwear store and meet with the guy I'm meeting. I had barely opened the r...

Re: If you could only have one rifle, and one cartridge for AZ hunting, what would it be?

I've hunted whitetail in southern Az ever since I started hunting. That is all I even put in for any more. I have probably killed more Whitetail bucks than most people have ever seen , and 99% of them were with a Remington 700 in 30.06. 300 yards is not an uncommon shot for these guys. I don't like...

Re: If you could only have one rifle, and one cartridge for AZ hunting, what would it be?

Just some background on me: I have a heavy barrel .308 and a short, ranch rifle type .243. Several years ago I tagged along on an elk hunt that 300 yards was a loning shot based on the terrain. Last year I tagged a long on a southern mule deer hunt that 400 yards felt like a close shot. This year I'...
