Re: Hornady Customer Service
I had two bricks of .17HMR I’d bought that were apparently pretty old stock. Turns out .17HMR cases are known for cracking as they age, and I went through both bricks to find that I had a 22% rate of cases that were already cracked. Even though they were beyond the warranty age, they were kind enoug...

Re: DMG
I almost wore my DMG shirt to work today, but didn’t want to mess it up any more than it already is since it’s my last one. I still keep in touch with Double G who now lives in Idaho, but that’s about it on my end.

I have nothing good to say here, so I won’t say anything at all.
Biden can eat my ass.
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

Re: Sig Strikers .. Not me
Couple day old thread, but I don’t care lol. As noted earlier, Glocks are kind of a bastard mix of both DA and SA. The striker isn’t under full tension with the trigger fully forward, so they can’t fire as they sit and require the trigger to be pulled to fully retract and then release the firing pin...

Re: Glock striker control Device
Langdon Tactical makes one for Gen5. Probably costs a bit more for the name, but then I also know who made it. The one on Amazon just says “generic.”

Re: Glock striker control Device
If you’re more of a DA/SA guy already, I’d go that route, IMO. Nothing wrong with Glocks, but I’m finding more enjoyment from hammered guns these days myself. I run Glocks still because a) I have them/know them/am invested in them already, b) they’re lightweight compared to many hammered guns, and c...

Re: Glock striker control Device
I use them, and have for a few years. They’re not going to cause a malfunction. I carried a Glock for years without one, but when I transitioned to AIWB, I became very aware of what my muzzle was covering. To me, a few bucks for a passive device that will alert me to something (clothing, belt, whate...

Re: Custom Built Bolt-Action Rifles
isnt AI factory and not custom? It is, but that’s my point. Unless you’re dying to have a rifle that was slaved over by a top ‘smith, an AI will perform to the same level as a custom while usually besting it in reliability and robustness (IMO), while often costing less (depending on which AI model ...
