Re: Spots for a family day

Seven Springs is a short drive. small stream, some hiking, decent shade. It's a developed campsite, with tables, fire rings and bathroom facilities.

If you want to drive a couple hours out, Christopher Creek is decent family camp area, too.

Re: Biden's 6 "initial actions" on Gun Control 4-8-2021

Few quick observations 1) All these executive orders from a guy who slammed his predecessor for over use of executive orders are sad and ironic 2) Car slams into Capitol officers and driver jumps out with a knife, but no executive order banning cars of knives is hypocritical . Since his administrati...

Re: What if Texas storm happened in Arizona?

Many of us have fireplaces in our homes that we cannot ever use due to the no-burn days that seem to be prevalent whenever it is cold outside... I have a fairly large stack of wood and a dozen or so duraflame logs. Not worried about heat generation. I have a decent food storage. Water---ehhh... 25 g...

That is some truth, right there.
Went to splatter targets a while ago and even those are getting blurry.

Where is the outrage? Old white guy walking down the street with a walking stick and murderous cop ends his life? Where is BLM marching in the street? Where are the media trucks and the grieving sister telling us how he was Jesus back amongst us? /sarcasm off Should have shot him 20 seconds earlier ...

Re: Questions Regarding Selling Firearms FROM CA Here in AZ

Your 03 license won't help you with the AR or Ruger, as neither is C&R. Don't even put them on the 03 book. Best bet, have them gifted to you, as one is a 'family heirloom.' I wouldn't do any paperwork on the gift, either. Highly recommend he gift you any of those "illegal" mags he mig...

Re: Gabby

While i don't agree with her opinion, i do acknowledge that she is does have a legitimate reason for her opinion. She was an avid shooter before the crazy guy. Plenty of pictures of her out with hubby posing with AR's and pistols. Seems to me, she has a better claim at banning crazy people than guns...

Re: Colt selling AR15s to the general public again

Nothing in the current Colt inventory will get my money. Not impressed with their company or their products. They haven't been innovators in a very long time and everything they currently build, someone else builds better.

Re: is the .357 sig a dead round?

I.M.O... it's roughly in the same price range as anything that isn't 9mm. The round has plenty going for it, as others have said, and if you aren't thrilled with it, spend the bucks for a conversion barrel to 40 S&W. Like the above poster said, the 357 sig isn't going anywhere, and neither is th...

Re: Star surplus 9mm

Star made some good quality weapons, for a while. My dad had a BM model I got to spend a lot of time with. Handled nicely and flawless operation, with FMJ's. It did not like any of the older HP's, but with some of the fmj profiled hp's, they might work fine

Re: Rio Salado open but......

I've had mostly good experiences at Rio, but I got yelled at for an action "not being open" on cold range---it was in a case sitting on the table. The case was partially open, as I was unpacking when range was called cold. I stepped back behind the line and the R.O. came down the line doin...
