Re: Prescott Valley Toyota Center
I went at opening on Sunday. No line to get in. I brought 4 guns, and sold them all. I wasn’t looking to buy anything, and was out by 10. Still no crowd. I should have brought more guns.

Re: Ham radio and what I've learned so far.
I take my RV out to the National Forests often. I can hit repeaters often with my HT, but don’t get much local activity. Found other campers are using GMRS. I got my license, and bought a radio. There’s a lot of activity there, and GMRS repeaters are popping up all over. License is still $70.00, but...

Re: And The Insanity Continues !
I have 2 bags of magnum 8 shot, purchased 25 yrs ago, in my stash. It will keep me in Quail shells for my lifetime. I’d never pay those prices.

Re: Mossberg 500 VS Remington 870
I’ve owned a few 870 shotguns in my life, still have 2. Dependable, easy takedown, and superb quality. However, I recently went to a Mossberg 590, and a Shockwave. I found the same reasons to like as with the Remingtons. I shoot off the left shoulder, and find the Mossbergs to be easier to operate.

I flux twice. Get the mold preheated by keeping a corner in the mix. Usually get good bullets quick.

I’d have told them to go to hell, and walked out. A gun shop run by looney liberals.

I bought 2, a couple years ago. I’ve killed many flies since. Time to get them ready for the summer.

Re: Lead Source?
Scrapyards can be a good source. Watch for sellers on Craigslist. Be wary of wheel weights, as most now are zinc. I’ve bought from sellers on castboolits.com with good results. Ask at yard sales, you might find some there.

Re: Springfield Problem
Does your ammo pass the plunk test? Remove the barrel, and drop your ammo into the chamber. If it hangs up, that could be an issue.

Played with most cartridges over the years. I now go for .308 and .223 for all my needs.
