Re: Norinco AK 84S .223 mags
My underfold Norinco 84S .223 was not reliable with the 3 provided steel mags. I just came across three Norinco factory mags in a salty old carrying case, still loaded with Norinco .223 LOL. I think there was a spider in there too.

Re: Norinco AK 84S .223 mags
Frankly speaking, I didn’t think much of the way the original mags worked either. I purchased one .223 AK the day before the ban was announced in ‘89. Bought two the next day. The guy was apologetic that he had to raise his price $100 to $350. I said I’ll take two. One was an under fold the other tw...

Re: Thoughts on AR pistols
Being an older gent I have a dim, limited view of the world. The AR pistol is not what I would pick up off the table if someone said go out the door and get in the fight. It’s not what I would keep by my bedside or in my truck. It’s not what I would pick for a shooting competition. It’s not what I w...

Re: My deer rifle getting heavy!
Deer hunting is a big subject. So is gun collecting. To me, two different subjects. I’ve banged up some nice stuff out in the bush and regretted it. Have a Howa Grendel and like it but for me, it’s a coyote gun. Have buddy who likes the small stuff and has killed a couple of mule deer with a .17 Mac...

Re: Best Semi-Auto Shotgun
Had a Beretta AL391 which is highly touted. Could not get used to the way it handled. Went back to the 1100 and have not missed it.

Re: Legacy by Daisy 22lr
I remember those. They came in three variations I seem to recall. I still have a single shot I bought for my son. The receivers seem to be castings, almost pot metal in appearance. Ours is pretty loosey goosey, the plastic and metal have only a tenuous relationship. Still shoots though. Lasted long ...
