Re: Do I need multiples of the same gun?
Two is one and one is none! I agree with the fact you should have multiples if you are as many of us and try to prepare for what we can. I'm not saying go crazy and be TEOTWAWKI prepper but prepare to feed and defend what is yours. I have 2 pools of firearms as well. I have what I can my defensive/s...

Re: Red dots or steel sights
For me I like red dots and think they are superior in some situations but my issue is I can buy or already have quality steel sights on most all of my rifles and handguns and it costs a good amount for a quality red dot. I'm not saying 1 is superior but I voted for irons because they are more durabl...

Re: Armslist Experiences
I have seen mostly the same as the above posters. Meet some good people and got some good deals on buying, trading or quick sales when I have something to sell to buy another toy when my wife wont let me keep spending. Had plenty of positives on that site but have had tons of flakes and multiple tim...

Re: Russian AK or Yugoslavian AK
Russian AK is more suited for walking and poor cleaning due to being lighter weight and chrome lined barrel. Yugos typically are heavier due to the heavier receiver and front trunnion. Also the barrels are never chrome lined. Honestly both are very good as long as you aren't buying a cheap cobbler t...

Re: How did you get started in reloading? How do I?
I got started into reloading from my step dad. He used to do WWII reenactments and once I mentioned going shooting and buying firearms etc he mentioned that he had tons of stuff in his garage for me to take home with me. I meet him after I was around 23 or so years old. My mom had remarried while I ...

Re: AK Stocks
I agree with the above. Magpul zhukov is awesome but expensive and heavy. Underfolder is great for size vs weight. I prefer a fixed rear trunnion so you can use the zhukov or a wire side folder etc. Also they make some AR stock adaptors that side fold off a fixed trunnion.

Re: Big bore AR
For ease of use the 458 is best. I like the 50 but components and bullets are hard to get at times. 450 bushmaster uses 451 caliber bullets so it's fine for a blinker or light game but I prefer the 458.

Re: Centurys WASR 10
The newer wasr rifle us really good. Most only haven minor issues like the wood century puts on is very soft and the stocks crack. The handguard burn because there is no steel spacers. The G2 trigger is not that great. The sights can be canted. As long as you inspect them first they are great guns.
