Re: One year of food for $600
I'm a fan of the idea where you go through and just pick up some extra of what you already eat from the store for a rainy day. It gives you a good layer of better tasting protection before you have to pull out the rice and beans.

The only good news is that in the current situation, it isn't going to take me long to check.

Re: New Sportsman's Warehouse Coming - Chandler
That is good news, I'm a Sportsman's fan. They aren't always the cheapest option, as I've seen a few things for less at Tombstone Tactical. But, they do seem to be working really hard to get stuff like ammo in stock.

It is a neat idea and I'm almost always glad to see folks try new things, but agree with everyone else that $4k each is just brutal.

Re: Any radio guys out there?
I got my license about a year or two ago. Have a couple of handsets, need to join a club and get familiar with them. My buddy is pretty well versed in it and has been helping me. I'm in the same boat. I passed the test and have been trying to do some reading and such online to learn more about radi...

Re: Savage's new straight pull action
I like the design and hope that it sticks around for a while. The ability to have one action and stock setup work for both L and R handed folks is niche, but cool. Is it a million times better than a Rem 700? Nope. Is it cool enough for me to use it as an excuse to buy a new rifle sometime over the ...

Re: FBI NICS logs 40% jump in gun checks in 2020, a record 39M
It is a good opportunity for everyone to keep an eye out for new gun owners that we can welcome to the hobby. If you are comfortable with it, offer to take them shooting and show them the basics with their new purchase. Also, consider telling them about GOA, FPC or NSSF, etc. so they know that there...

Re: How many unregistered silencer prosecutions?
Last I heard, pistols were still indeed the most commonly used firearm in shootings. You could probably count on one hand the number of shootings involving a suppressed SBR.

Table Mesa is still an option, but you can't be near the roads or the signs or the trails or anything else.

Re: Remington Agrees to Sell Ammunition Business, Including Barnes Bullets, for $65 Million
It is amazing that someone could run a company into the ground that makes guns and ammo during a time when those are the two things that local stores can't keep on the shelves.

Re: Reloading & Ammo In Stock Around The Valley
Cabela's has hunting type ammo in stock in a variety of calibers. For pistol ammo, the in stock items were more obscure calibers like 41 Magnum or 454 Casull.
