When you shop on their site, be aware that they can sell nearly the same product many different ways and the prices d...

Re: GunTab - Gun Payment Service
Just completed a transaction purchasing a high dollar rifle from out of state using GunTab. This escrow service worked really well and gave both of us (buyer and seller) peace of mind. GunTab protects both the seller (from charge backs and fraudulent payments) and buyer (inspection period before rel...

Re: Vortex Crossfire II scopes
As you surmised; not looking for anything remotely high end (or mid level for that matter). Putting this on a 17 HMR plinker, and don't really want to spend big bucks on glass or the rifle. I've had plenty of high end rifles and decent glass, but most of the time they spend life trapped in my safe. ...

Re: Opinions on 17 HMR Rifles
Thank you for the inputs. I've heard the older 917 Marlins were better than the new XT models. Most "internet" people prefer the older models, but they are harder to find.

Opinions on 17 HMR Rifles
Looking for a 17 HMR rifle to be used for target/varmint shooting. Not interested in spending a fortune on Anschutz, Coopers etc.. Looking at Marlin XT-17V, Savage 93R17TR, others?
