Re: Colt 1911?
I have a Colt Government Gunsite pistol, it will be a pistol that I will never part with. I carried it on duty for years, and CCW it as well for years. It has never missed a beat and is just a solid, accurate, dependable gun. I must admit, that the G19 has replaced it for my CCW now, but that Colt w...

Re: Lever Actions
I'm hoping Rugers acquisition of Marlin will help it all out. I for one am keeping my eyes on them. I would love to find a 38/357 for an all around fun gun. For me the Ar platform just doesn't have the soul of a lever gun.

Re: What's your go-to medium game hunting cartridge?
I think if I had to choose one caliber for medium game, it would probably be the .243, if you throw in bigger game, I would up it to the .308 or 30.06, but the .243 will do the job just fine on all of the game you mentioned

Re: Why are all safes coming with the electronic keypads?
This newer electronic lock is so much better than my older liberty safe with the electronic lock. I am happy I went with it. It feels "solid" and it hasn't had one hiccup like the older one.

Re: Why are all safes coming with the electronic keypads?
I also had a liberty with the electronic lock and I also have had issues with multiple attempts to open it, and a couple weeks ago I went to buy a new safe. I went to the liberty dealer in chandler/gilbert just off the 202. I ended up with the fatboy model and I was sure I was going to get the mecha...

Dillon 550 all day for me, but out of what you asked about. I would have to go with the 750.

I have killed quite a few elk with the .308, I have always used the Federal High Energy 180gr.

Re: Crappie at Rosy?
I caught a few on crankbaits while fishing for bass at Rosy. When I actually tried for crappie, all I caught was bass. I see they are catching quite a few of them at Bartlett right now though

Re: Colt Python - What's the big deal?
I agree with most of what everyone has said... that being... I kinda want one. So, if anyone knows of a place that has them in stock.... let me know. I’d like to go check it out in person and see if that “want” is still there afterwards.

Re: Tonto nf fire
They aren’t saying what caused the fire. Me personally, I try to be extra cautious when out in the desert shooting, I would hate to be the cause of an area burning or getting shut down. Always try to pack more out than I bring.
