Somebody sent me a funny .mp4 file that I would like to share with the forum. Can I attach an MP4 file?

It's probably too large.

You could host it elsewhere and embed it. Youtube, Rumble, or Odyssey maybe.

I have made posts with links to files on free hosting websites. The mp4 files that I posted were only available for 14 days, I think, and then deleted by the hosting website. There may be free hosting websites that retain the posted files for a longer period.

Generally, you can attach different media types to posts, including .mp4 files. However, remember that sometimes, these files might need to be uploaded correctly due to their size or length. If you run into issues, consider resizing or compressing your video using a platform. I've had good experiences with Movavi for this purpose. For more information or to download it, check out this article: https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/ ... ws-10.html.
