These have become somewhat collectable.
If something needs to be modded to make it work, I always keep the old parts and include them in a baggie.

I kind of like the shotgun. 500 style action with 870 furniture.

I absolutely detest sideways safeties.
Tang safety on the Mossgerg is a major point in it's favor.

Re: Question about a Gun In a Meme
Looks like a kit BP muzzle loader. I have one around here somewhere. Couldn't figure out what the metal plate looking thing was until the zoomed image where it's obviously just a buckle.

Re: Need help finding an FFL near Tucson willing to work with a non-immigrant alien!
I have a coworker with the same issue (Gilbert/Chandler)
It is 100% legal for a non-resident alien with a hunting license to purchase a firearm from an FFL, but every FFL around here is running scared and hunkered down. Not that I blame them with the current administration.

Clearly in violation of state law. Unclaimed firearms must be sold to "The Public"

Well, if you did it right, it's no longer an emergency.

Re: The Death of Jordan Neely: Why Vigilantes Are a Good Thing
The term Vigilante dates from the early to mid 1850s. Originally meaning someone who was a member of a "People's Committee of Vigilance". These Committees generally sprung up amongst the people in response to government corruption. See San Fransisco Committee of Vigilance for the best know...

Re: I know nothing about these. Does the scope hurt the value?
Drilling holes yes.
Scope no.
I think that is a simple "clamp on" scope base that mounts to the rear sight base. But, if the rear sight is missing that obviously hurts the value by $100 or so.

Re: Alec Baldwin CHARGED !
This is my take, Forget that it was a firearm. Disregard everything you know about firearms safety. It's not actually relevant. Baldwin killed someone through gross negligence. When dangerous things are used on set, there is a safety brief. Doesn't matter if it was a gun, or a fork lift. Baldwin vio...

The first 4 shots were legal...people were in immediate danger. But the next 6-8 shots... It's Texas, he'll be fine. The first 4 shouts were unquestionably legal. Shots 5-8 are borderline. The goblin had already dropped his weapon, but it's unclear in that short instance of time one could transitio...

New CZ-p07 mags and CZ-P10C mags are the same magazines. The folks asking $50 are probably selling off their old stock of P-07 only mags. Greg Cote has the best prices. Still pricey though. https://gregcotellc.com/cart/cz-factory-mecgar-actmag-c-173/cz-p10-c-reverse-or-cz-p07-9mm-10-rd-factory-magaz...

Oh there probably is. But pawn hold searches go through the local PD. If it wasn't reported stolen in the state where it was sold to the shop, it could have easily been overlooked.

Re: Anyone load using Bayou's 135 grain 9mm bullet
So, Finally got to the range.
4.0 grains of H. Universal, 135 Bayou bullet.
Commander length 1911 (Dan Wesson CCO)
Average velocity = 1022 fps
StDev = 12 fps
That gives a Power Factor of 138. Think I will go down to 3.9 and these will make a great 1GUN load.
